• Call for nomination of candidates by countries under ISA Mid-career Professionals Capacity Building Scheme (2026-28)

The International Solar Alliance (ISA) Secretariat invites applications for the ISA Solar Fellowship 2026 (8th Batch) under its Solar Fellowship Scheme for Mid-Career Professionals from ISA Member Countries.

The fellowship provides an opportunity for eligible candidates to pursue a two-year M.Tech programme in Renewable Energy Technologies and Management (ESR) at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, India.

• Programme Details

• Programme: M.Tech in Renewable Energy Technologies and Management (ESR)

• Host Institution: Department of Energy Science and Engineering, IIT Delhi, India

• Duration: 2 Years

• Commencement: 23 July 2026

• Medium of Instruction: English

• Fellowship Support

Selected candidates will receive sponsorship from ISA, including:

• Tuition fees (approx. USD 4500)
• Monthly stipend of USD 750 (up to 24 months)

• Economy class international airfare (most direct route)

Note: Health insurance is to be arranged by the candidate.

• Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit:

• Up to 45 years for applicants

Educational Qualifications:

• A 4-year Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in relevant engineering disciplines such as Chemical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Energy, Power Engineering, or Engineering Physics
  OR
• A Master’s degree in Physics, Electronics, or Applied Physics

Minimum 60% aggregate marks or CGPA of 6.0 on a 10-point scale.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.
